C&T - A Perfect Mountain Wedding... Snow Included!

Tim & ChelleTim and Chelle's wedding was nothing short of amazing! Not only are they a beautiful and stylish couple that knows how to party but they also are great friends of ours. And to top it off... It snowed! And snow makes everything better. :) And seeing that their wedding was in Lake Arrowhead, California in late April, this was really nothing short of a miracle. It never really snows a considerable amount down here past March. And not only did it snow two days before the wedding, by the day of the wedding it was sunny and 72 degrees! Their wedding was a perfect mountain wedding. But it wasn't just fate that blessed them, they put in their fair share of blood, sweat and tears. Nearly everything was handmade by them or the girls in their wedding party. Yet through it all Chelle and Tim were always cool, considerate and totally excited about their wedding day. I wish every bride and groom could be the same. :)
Tim & ChelleI loved their cake table so much! Especially the "LOVE" letters hanging above it.
Tim & ChelleTheir invitations were all cut out by hand! And they had close to 150 guests! The birds and birdcage design was really cool!
Tim & ChelleTheir colors were blues and yellows. Tim wore a navy blue suit and Chelle wore a lovely ivory colored dress with a soft lace design.

Tim & ChelleChelle's shoes were beautiful but as soon as the reception hit it was all boots on the dance floor!

Tim & ChelleTim and Chelle did a Fuji Instax guestbook and it was stinking rad! I love fuji!
Tim & ChelleThey also used a ton of their engagement photos at the guestbook and gift table along with some vintage family photographs mounted in an old window. So cool!
Tim & Chelle
Tim & ChelleTheir favors were little tin candles with their guests' names on them and their table numbers on the top. Loved the old ladders. Used more engagement photos on these as well!

S&B - Cake

S&B Reception negs

For Brandon and Serra's wedding cake they used vintage bamboo tiered hat boxes with various pies, cream puffs and strawberry cheesecake inside! All of their dinnerware was beautiful antique china.

S&B - Place Cards

S&B Reception negs

At my brother's wedding, one of my duties as best man was to grab photos of all the guests with my Polaroid 195 Land Camera for the place settings to be used in place of name cards designed with a place on the back to write a message to the bride & groom to be compiled as a guestbook of sorts. It turned out to be the only camera I was able to use all day. So I will be sharing photos by their photographer, Gia Canali, documenting the rest of the day once the film is all processed. For now we can just enjoy the instant gratification of film!
