Daniel & Lauren Engagemets

Daniel and Lauren are two very happy campers let me tell you. I mean these kids love to smile! And it's contagious. You can tell they are so in love! The whole day was great. From the moment we arrived at Balboa Park till we left La Jolla Shores we were laughing and joking having a grand ol' time. And there was plenty of kissing. It's great when couple doesn't mind holding that kiss. These kids didn't mind one bit! :) Thanks guys!
I really love these photos! Lauren has such a great smile and they were totally trusting and willing to be creative. At one point we were talking during the shoot and Lauren was explaining to me the importance of having photos of yourselves before the wedding of just the way you were. I couldn't agree more Lauren! The wedding photos are great and all but they often miss who you were. I don't know many people who ware a tux or wedding gown as normal thing. Your engagement photos are a milestone.
There are a lot of pictures in this post but I couldn't help myself. My favorites are the last ones. Ilford 3200 in a twin lens reflex is always a killer combo. Check out the coffee art! :)

Whoa!!! The pentagon shaped bokeh looks great! May I ask what lens you used throughout the shoot?

Square images were shot with a Mamiya C330 80mm f/2.8 Sekor lens.
The 35mm were with a FE2 with a 35mm f/1.4 Ai lens or a 50mm f/1.8 Ai Series E.
The 6 x 4.5 were with a Fuji GS645S Rangefinder with a Fujinon W 60mm f/4
