It's been a while since we've posted a wedding on here so to make up for it I decided to make this one extra long. Natalie and Layne were married June 6th at beautiful Monteleone Meadows. We love these kids! You may remember their photos being on here back in March. We loved shooting those photos and couldn't wait to see them again. And their wedding was even better. Their whole family is amazing! Natalie's dad even shared one of his fine Romeo & Juliette Cigars with us towards the end of the wedding. Thank you! ;) Everyone was trying to get us to go Pechanga with them to continue the party at the end. I wish we had! We loved spending time with them all! In fact if you were there and are reading this now feel free to email or call us. We would love to hang out again!
Monteleone was great! Really nice and well ran. The wedding went really smooth! Who says you need to go some place exotic to have a beautiful wedding? If you are thinking about a winery wedding in Temecula I would suggest you consider Monteleone instead. It's smaller and more private and has a lot that many wineries don't. And if you don't believe me here are some fine photos to prove it!

Something blue:

Natalie and Layne didn't want to see each other before the ceremony. But nobody said they couldn't touch.

Weddings run late. That's just how it goes.

Nice hands Layne!

Charge!

I just can't get over how much I love Fuji's 64T cross-processed. Wow!

This shot was totally unplanned! Truely an authentic boys will be boys moment.

I love photobooths at weddings!

It's rare that I can say that a wedding D.J. is acually good. But this guy (right) was great!

All teeth!

Oven mitts? haha what?
Very nicely done and well presented! Somehow I liked the BW 4x4 bridesmaid*groomsmen a lot. Are you using Portra or something else?
@Serra
Yeah... After the bouquet toss all the girls kissed the groom on the cheek while "I Kissed A Girl" was playing and Layne had to guess which was his wife. He guessed her sister. After the garter toss the guys had their buns grabbed by Natalie and she had to guess which was Layne's. The oven mitts for the hot buns was what made it PG. HAHAHA! :)
@KameraKevin
The B&W portraits were done on Fuji Acros. We used Fuji 400H for the rest of the portraits, ceremony and preparation. The reception was mostly 800Z. Loved it! The other B&W was Fuji Neopan 400. Oh and the cross-processed was Fuji 64T 120.
You guys just get better and better... I loved those pictures (:
guys these are great, well done! (-zach)
Thanks Zach! I loved the wedding you shot there recently as well. It's great how different a place can look when photographed from the perspective of two different photographers. Your approach differs from ours in some ways but I still love it and admire your unique creativity. Happy to be acquainted you and your work. Your input means a lot. Thanks!
